Blessed Potions Lip Butter Stain Review

I am sharing with you my personal experience with Blessed Potions Bath & Body Lip Butter Stain in Cocoa. At first, I wanted to get the cinnamon variant but because it was already sold out when I went around to buy, I got the cocoa variant instead.

Blessed Potions Bath & Body is a local brand of all natural, food-based skin products. The person behind it is a mompreneur, a full time stay at home mommy to three adorable kids. The birth of the brand was because of her love for make ups and all natural skin care products. Although it doesn't have a physical store, Mommy Bless is mostly present at event bazaars in Cagayan de Oro City. Most of her products are sold out even before the end of the event. For instance, 50 tubs of lip butter stains were sold in just 4 hours during the Earth Week Trade Fair last April at Ayala Centrio Mall.

12 grams, P289.00 | Ingredients: Food grade cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, cocoa powder

My experience

I am not fond of using lip balms but I particularly like this balm (or butter) because it's a 3-in-1 product. I get the exfoliation, moisture and color my lips need. It is not kiss-proof but butter stains doesn't have to be kiss-proof so let's leave it as it is. It may look small but it has so much product in it, believe me! Your disappointment will be replaced with gladness when you get to experience how a tiny product can go a long way.

The pigmentation is rich. It can be a lipstick without the stick.

After blending

For a handmade product, this is a WOW. Halata na wala gitipid ug buhat. It is pricey for a tiny product (if looking at the size is the way how you assess or judge a product) but it's the one that must bear the slogan: You get what you pay for.

Natural looking lips. It looks nothing on my lips but I have pale lips (blame the anemia)

If you want a natural looking lips, if your bet is the no makeup makeup look, this lip butter stain is for you. It is safe for everyday use and since it is loaded with healthy ingredients, you can kiss your baby with it ;)

Summary

Pros

Rich pigmentation

Moisturizing

Hydrating

Non drying

Classically pretty

Natural looking on the lips

Cons

It is not long lasting

It is not kiss proof

Hard to get the product because of its container

It is recommended for the youngsters especially the teenagers to wear something safe on their lips so that they won't grow old regretting (hopefully they get to read this or at least become informed and not buy fake lipsticks) and the moms who want nothing but natural goodness on their lips.
